“The service exceeded expectations. Our manager, Serene, always remained contactable on WhatsApp for our last-minute queries. She also -allowed time and room for changes in our contract to suit our needs and wants. Food was delectable. The-menus offered were good and the chef was receptive to food tasting reviews and feedback was taken into consideration. There were also novel items which were of good quality like the cheesecake dessert.
Our venue was spectacular. The Grand Ballroom decoration was extravagant with fairy lights and street lights. The table décor choices all turned out very beautiful and the smoke machines turned out fine Thank you making our wedding a wonderful and memorable one.”

Old Chinese Wedding Customs?
We can be very thankful, the year is not 1949 and we are not in old New York Chinatown. It’s a new day in the sun for all of us, even through the Virus Crisis, we can stride forward into the future, confident that our lives will become what we seek and work toward. The crisis will end, opportunity displays itself, and we should fear only our personal fears. This story gives us a glance at the past.
Let’s look at Chinese Wedding Traditions, Just to be sure we get this right!
A Story by SIDNEY HERSCHEL SMALL: May 1, 1949
A Chinese young man wants desperately to marry a lower class maiden, but grandfather Sheng Wi’i forbids their wedding. Somewhere in thousands of pages of The Books of Custom is the secret to their union. A loving heart and a powerful mind must battle with old men and ancient books of wisdom. Love must find the secret to deny ancient family tradition.

Dining
Site Author’s Note: There are endless offerings for the world’s finest food all over the city; mostly Chinese, Asian, and some specialties in Italian, Greek, and Middle Eastern. There are likewise endless photos of food and restaurants. Some photos are quickly going obsolete as restaurant designers decide to upgrade, improve, or just give their place a new appearance.
To get the most of the fabulous Singapore Gastronomy Scene you must be adventurous and look around. It’s rare to find any restaurant that does not maintain the best of cleanliness and sanitary standards. Everyone in the hospitality community wants Singapore to have a reputation for excellence.
Population being 76.2% Chinese, everyone wants to avoid social disdain/embarrassment (losing face) because their restaurant got a bad review! Thus, you can be assured of getting excellent food everywhere you go, in all price ranges and all sorts of venues from “street food” and small cafes, to more expensive Roof-top Dining above a casino overlooking the harbor from an elevation of 550 feet!
It’s all here, great shopping, custom tailoring for the man seeking a truly excellent suit, beautiful ladies wear and custom made clothing, jewelry, and for the business traveler higher technology industries provide what you may need in almost any category! If you’re seeking anything for yourself or your business, think first of shopping Singapore.
