Conrad Centennial Singapore is part of the Millenia Singapore shopping and business development in Marina Bay, and is surrounded by a massive shopping complex.
Owned by Hilton, this business hotel differentiates itself from competitors with a 24-hour international buffet restaurant that’s become a local institution. Rooms are large and have big marble bathrooms and views of the skyline. Some renovations and updates in rooms are on-going, which is completely understandable. This hotel is among the city’s more popular luxury choices.

One of the hotel’s official sites seems half completed and has no working links! This page you’re reading is more complete than two of the others.

“Our flight landed at 0600 in the morning, hours before our 1500 check in time. They took our bags checked us in and they told us they would give us a key as soon as a room was available. We were taken to the 4th floor spa area, where we showered and changed clothing. After a long flight from The US, that was much appreciated. They held our bags for us. We left the hotel, had breakfast, did a little sightseeing. The staff called us a couple hours before 1500 and told us our room was ready. When we returned to the hotel, our bags were already waiting for us in our rooms. Wonderfully staff. Beautiful location. Close to public transportation, shopping, restaurants, and attractions.”
Evelyne United States of America
“Loved the executive suite. Convenience, view, executive top room for teas. Perfect for a business visit (for family probably too). ” Varvara United States of America
“I like the convenient location (near MRT Promenade or Esplanade). It’s near the Suntec department store where you can find some restaurants and convenience stores easily. The room is spacious and functional. It has much space to keep your things and also has a bathtub in every room type. The amenities from Shanghai Tang smell so good!

Conrad Centennial Singapore
I normally book Marriott properties for my trips but, on this occasion, booking the Conrad Centennial Singapore made a lot more sense. It was less costly and the location is excellent.
Even compared to the Hilton Singapore the Conrad was a very good deal:
The entry-level room offered during the booking process was a Deluxe King and was being sold at a 35% discount in one of Hilton’s reasonably frequent Asia sales.
The property is in an excellent location. If you’re looking to explore the area around Singapore’s Marina this location is ideal.
local mapIt sits opposite the Suntec City Mall/Suntec Convention Centre complex and is 5 minutes walk away from the Esplanade MRT station.
If you’re visiting Singapore with an intention to explore the city there is no better location to begin.
Lobby & Check-In
There are multiple entrances to the Conrad Singapore (it sits on a sizeable piece of real estate) and the one you’ll use will probably depend on how you arrive (by foot or by car) and which direction from which you arrive.
The lobby is impressive. Checking-in at the spacious reception area is fast and easy.
Check-in is fast and efficient.
The Conrad Centennial Singapore has 31 floors. Higher floors are impressive for their view and quiet.
Bathrooms are praised by guests for thier cleanliness.
The bathroom was an impressive size and offered a double vanity unit.a large tub complete with Conrad rubber duck and a big stand-alone shower. The shelves in the bathroom held two complimentary bottles of water which housekeeping replenished. Closets are in the hallway of course. The safe in the second closet was wide enough to hold a 15” MacBook
The Deluxe King rooms at the Conrad are 430 square feet (40 square meters) in size and are set out like most hotel rooms.
There’s a short entrance hallway with a bathroom leading to the right and the main living/sleeping area straight ahead.
The king-size bed was very comfortable, the pillows are the highest quality.
Opposite the bed was a large flat-screen TV mounted on the wall as well as a table, a chair, and a small side table:
For added seating the whole area under the window is essentially one long padded bench with a few cushions: We note the furnishings are designed for long life and easy to keep sanitary.
Under the flat-screen TV was a cabinet with room for storage, and writing supplies, and two concealed multi-region power outlets with USB points.
There were more power outlets and USB points on either side of the bed as well as controls for the room lights and the drapes. This is more than sufficient to be a bedroom and executive writing space. One can get a lot of work done here in peace without distractions.
Opposite the closets is an alcove with glasses, a kettle and a small coffee maker, under which is a drawer with more glasses, mugs, tea, coffee, snacks, and spirits. These items are not free. They are tallied and added to your bill at checkout.
And below this is the minibar fridge. The view from the room was pleasing. Most of the marina view is obscured by another high-rise hotel. On a busy tourist afternoon, there are many milling about. The view improves at night.
Reports for dining at this hotel are generally quite good. Breakfast is served at “Oscars” – a restaurant on the ground floor beside the reception desks.
Dress code is “smart casual.” It maintains a fine older tradition seen throughout most of the city’s better hotels.
Conrad Centennial Singapore
A buffet breakfast is served between 6:00 am and 10:30 am daily.
The restaurant also offers buffets for lunch and dinner:
Inside, the restaurant offers a variety of tables that can seat between 2 and 5 guests. Since the virus crisis, there may be fewer tables and more space. We’ll see about that in 2021..
Breakfast itself was beyond fabulous. I can’t imagine what else the chef could be expected to offer. All of this is complimentary for mid-tier status elites.
There were all the usual dishes that comprise a hot western-style breakfast (bacon, eggs, hash browns, pancakes, a long delicious list!)There were all the usual cold cuts, breads, jams and cereals, a salad bar, and traditional Asian dishes(Congee, miso soup, rice, steamed buns, noodles etc…) enough fruit for a small army. A fruit juice station and more juices next to the fruit was a bakery’s daily production of pastries and cakes, and, just in case all that isn’t enough, there’s an ice cream station too. (Your best choice is to sell your house and move in here.) It’s cheaper than an assisted living facility and provides services that are better.
The Conrad Centennial Singapore offers one of the most comprehensive buffet breakfast ever seen.
Pool & Fitness Club
The Conrad Singapore has a sizeable outdoor pool on the 4th floor which is open from 6:00am to 11:00 pm. Placed in this location, one is afforded a modicum of privacy and grand luxury.
Alongside the pool, is the entrance to the refurbished “Fitness Club” which is open 24 hours (a room key is needed to access the facility between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am). It’s remarkably well equipped but I won’t show photos of it here. My recommendation is for you to visit, get a workout, shower, take a swim in their fabulous pool.
The gym is large and extremely well-stocked with more than most average 3 times/week sort of fitness enthusiasts could ever want.
The property also offers a spa. Take my word for this. I’m a natural healing doctor (Chiropractor, Massage therapist, nutritionist, with specialty studies in nervous system physiology and orthopedics). I know what I’m talking about. If you have time and can arrange a light workout and daily massage with wise dining habits you’ll leave healthier than you arrived and perhaps you’ll have developed new habits that will improve your health picture for years! (Check with your physician before starting a new exercise plan.)
Hotel Staff are always extremely accommodating. I have seen several reports like this one.
“My flight out of Singapore didn’t depart until late at night while the official hotel check-out time is 12:00pm.
As a Hilton Gold elite, I’m not actually entitled to any guaranteed late check out but the hotel allowed me to keep my room until 3:00 pm. After that, I was invited to use the restaurant area by the pool for as long as I wanted to stay and work. That may not sound especially generous. But wait. This area offered complimentary sodas, tea and coffee…. and, during the hours I was there, complimentary snacks in the form of:
- Crabmeat sandwiches
- Salmon sandwiches
- Beef pastrami sandwiches
- Hot scones with cream and jam
- A selection of cakes
- An assortment of fruit
This area additionally offered complimentary sodas, tea and coffee and, during the hours I was there, complimentary snacks in the form of:

Full-service domestic US lounges are generally never this good!
The ‘entry-level’ room was more than good enough for my needs and it would have been good enough for a couple.
There was plenty of space, the bed was very comfortable, the view was fair, there were ample power outlets and the bathroom was great.
Breakfast was fantastic (I could choose to be as decadent or healthy as I wanted to be), the staff were all efficient and friendly. The amenities (pool, gym etc.) were more than acceptable. The hotel staff did everything I could reasonably expect to accommodate my late-departing flight.
I really couldn’t have asked for more.
I don’t stay at Hilton properties very often but this stay has convinced me to return to Hilton repeatedly.
I enjoyed my stay at the Conrad Singapore and I wish I could have stayed longer. At $180/night this was outstanding value. I don’t think you can find better, and anyone would be happy here.
I know that the better Hilton/Marriott/IHG properties in Asia are often noticeably better than their counterparts in the US or even Europe but, even by top Singapore standards, I think this hotel can’t be bettered.

Singapore: The Destination For
The Best of Everything In The World!
Singapore, a unique blend of cultures, embraces the traditions of the East while combining the dynamic business and commercial attitudes of the West. From business attractions to world-class amusement parks, the city offers an exciting, eclectic mix of attractions influenced by a multitude of cultures.
Visit Marina Bay, the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, the Singapore Flyer, ArtScience Museum, Formula One Pit Building, Colonial Heritage area, Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, Sentosa and the finest restaurants, shopping and cultural attractions during your stay. This Singapore hotel is just steps away from the most popular attractions the city has to offer.
Diverse, exciting, fun, and sophisticated, Conrad Centennial Singapore puts you at the center of it all, with direct and easy access to the entertainment, business, historical, and shopping areas of the city.
We’ve come to the end of this information piece about Singapore and the Conrad Hilton Singapore Hotel.
I shall briefly express an opinion with a final conclusion. The world is changing and some questionable opinions are bantered about saying that those who diligently work to make better lives should give their earnings away. Somehow, the writers of these ideas (that sound entirely too much like Marxism to me,) want us to believe that being part of the problem is better than being part of the solution. I see no good logic nor justifiable benefit to such ideas. You won’t make one person richer or healthier or happier by being impoverished, sick, and miserable! You WILL improve lives by putting your money to work wisely and thereby helping others be employed!
Your work and your willingness to travel to Singapore for business and pleasure helps a large population of industrious people to continue making an honest living. That is a demonstration of your will and ability to be part of the solution! I pray for God’s blessings on you for this!
Singapore Herself is The Major Attraction
The Major United States and European cities have dangerous neighborhoods, some so filthy they’re a blight on humanity and an embarrassment to the city and national governments. I’m thinking of once-great cities like Paris, London, New York, Bonn, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Seattle. Even smaller cities like Malmo, Sweden, are suffering. These are not places for decent upper-status ladies and gentlemen such as yourself.
I imagine you feel a nostalgic feeling of loss over those wonderful places visited in years past, but as an alternative, Singapore is still rising, still clean and exciting. You can find the best of anything decent prosperous people want to own for sale in Singapore! There is almost No Crime. It’s a very comfortable and safe city!
This explains why I don’t promote US cities. I am exclusively about and FOR Singapore and I recommend this wonderful city to you. It’s the one place in the world still proving that Free Markets and Free Enterprise lead to comfort and prosperity for those smart enough and hard-working enough to reach for the golden ring!
Visit Singapore, read through the links I’ve given above, and consider making your stay at the Conrad Hilton Singapore. I think after that experience you’ll decide to return again and again!
