Marina Bay Sands Casino Hotel

The problem with being as famous as Marina Bay Sands Hotel, is that every character in the world can make up a page or a YouTube video and make an absolute mess of it, leaving nothing but Google-confusion. The red address above is reliable. “Accept no substitutes.” Use that red link to see the OFFICIAL website. I would certainly book a room directly through the hotel rather than trust a 3rd Party travel agency. Why risk the confusion of going through a network of several contacts when you can deal directly with the hotel?

There is so much going on at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel it’s a challenge to write about it, and I think the reason is the hotels in town are places to eat well and sleep, maybe do some exercise, and take a swim.

There’s no other hotel in Singapore with so many shops to visit, so many fabulous restaurants to experience, so many sights to see, so many smart, capable, well-to-do guests with whom to meet and converse.

There’s no other place in town with a casino to rival the best in Las Vegas! THIS is IT!

I’ll show you a bit of it and I recommend if this looks like the place for you, stop dreaming and visit the city and this Shopping, Hotel, Casino complex.

The Marina Bay Sands Hotel complex is a discussion of luxurious experiential living, the world’s best dining, amazing nightlife, and architectural engineering that reaches into the depths of structural physics like no building I have ever seen. To the thoughtful viewer who thinks in terms of angles and stresses this structure defies the imagination and begs a thousand questions. That long curved “shelf” atop the three buildings is likely the largest and heaviest suspended swimming pool on earth! ….and to imagine people with no understanding of engineering just trust so much that they’ll pull most of their clothes off and dive into it. The very idea leaves me a bit aghast.

The Perfect Place To Stay?

A Guest Writes His Review of the Marina Bay Sands

Reviewed 14 April 2019

The hotel stands out. We took a high floor king suite overlooking the gardens and the port.

The hotel has an enormous shopping mall, a casino, a unique pool on the roof top overlooking Singapore. Perfect bed, a  comfortable, spacious room.

They have one of the best light shows in front of the shopping mall and beautiful access to the gardens.

A view from the observation deck 55 floors (650 ft) above the earth!

Access to Sands Sky Park Observation Deck and Infinity Pool Are Available exclusively for All Overnight Guests.

Everyone, it seems, photographs The Infinity Pool

I promise I’ll get off my pool fascination if you can take your eyes off these young beauties and LOOK beyond At That Pool!  It looks as if it floats on clouds and you could spread your Dragon Fly Wings and zinggg off into infinity! That outer edge has a visual effect that water simply stops against a sci-fi energy field. If you have a tendency to walk on water, be careful you don’t step too far.

The pool is for Hotel Guests Only. If you want to swim there, you’re required to sleep (and maybe something more) there. I’m guessing the rooms were designed for a lot of something more.

Surely, pools like this were designed to display beautiful women.

The hotel complex is located along Marina Bay waterfront with 3 cascading hotel towers, 2,560 rooms, extraordinary Sands Sky Park, floating crystal pavilions, lotus-inspired Art Science Museum, The Shops, Celebrity Chef Restaurants, Theatres, and the city’s hottest nightclubs.

I note a plethora of beautiful shoppes and 45 restaurants! I can’t imagine how anyone can experience all of it. Like that pool, It’s shopping, dining, and luxury into infinity. If you still want to shop more, the city awaits and serves the best of the best for those who are able to afford it. I haven’t found any surveys to prove my hypothesis but I think it’s probable that gyms were also designed to display gorgeous women.

Banyon Tree fitness club is a very extensive gym.

There’s got to be something to eat around here somewhere.

The hotel houses 45 restaurants, several run by “Celebrity Chefs.”I’m not sure if this is a hotel with restaurants or a plethora of excellent restaurants with an attached hotel!

I’m inviting you to learn more about just two of them before we go to the casino.

The hotel houses 45-Fabulous Restaurants, each presided over by famous chefs! You can’t go wrong dining here through your entire stay or inviting business associates for a business meeting at any of these brilliant establishments. Visit, dine, and arrange something special for your future good times.

Check for Special Promotions. The economy changes and promotions change too, so it’s better you check the Marina Bay Sands official website for updated details about promotions.

There are so many great restaurants in a huge price range to try, you’ll find meals at a price you can manage and be fed very well. … and here’s a secret. Many of the small places and “hawker’s sidewalk food courts” provide less atmosphere but food with just as much flavor and texture as you can buy from chefs charging five times their price. Look around, ask locals, find places that are crowded, and join in.

The little cafes are great too. Look here

With 2561 guest Rooms, surely there’s one just right for you. I recommend you stay for 49 years and try a different one each week. Take photos, report back. I’ll chip in for a part of your expenses. If you grow old enough to survive this “staycation” the place will also be much more interesting than an assisted living facility and probably won’t cost much more.

KOMA, a new concept from TAO Group, is a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar offering a modern interpretation of Japanese cuisine, and a multi-sensory dining experience.

Featuring original creations from Executive Chef Kunihiro Moroi, KOMA takes a bold and distinct approach in its menu, incorporating fresh and seasonal produce and ingredients from Japan. Recommended dishes include the Aburi Hamachi (Yellowtail) Salad and D.I.Y. Spicy Tuna, while meat lovers can look forward to the A5 Wagyu Beef Tenderloin or the Toban A5 Wagyu Fried Rice.

Guests enter through a striking 20m passageway lined with orange arches, reminiscent of the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, into an intimate lounge where one can experience creative new cocktails or choose from the venue’s extensive sake list. A dramatic 2.5m tall one-of-a-kind Japanese “bell,” which presides above a traditional Japanese footbridge, provides a focal point for the main dining room.

A dramatic 2.5m tall one-of-a-kind Japanese “bell,” which presides above a traditional Japanese footbridge, provides a focal point for the main dining room, which is complemented by soaring high ceilings, an oversized sushi bar and a private dining room at the mezzanine. KOMA will present a next-level dining experience where guests can enjoy great food and conversation in a dramatic, unique setting created by the world-renowned design firm Rockwell Group.

There’s no city anywhere in the world quite like Singapore!

These two photos from the Art Science Museum are of course just one ultimately fantastic location. Wherever you go in Sg, you’re bound to be amazed, delighted, and educated! I can’t think of any other city where you gain so much from a few days of visiting and shopping.

If gambling is an art form, it must be that The Marina Bay Hotel’s Casino is the palate of the playful artist.

MARINA BAY SANDS CASINO is housed in its own building and offers four levels of gaming in a luxurious, spacious setting. Patrons can enjoy a wide variety of popular table games including roulette, blackjack, baccarat and sic bo, and slot machines featuring the latest games such as video poker, and electronic sic bo and roulette. Premium players and Paiza members have access to exclusive gaming and dining privileges at the casino’s upper two levels, which feature over 30 private gaming rooms. Paiza is an exclusive, by-invitation club for premium players who receive a unique level of service including a members-only access bridge linking the casino and hotel. Paiza members enjoy the best of every hospitality amenity available at the Marina Bay Sands and the widest range of gourmet food and premium beverages, all delivered through personalized 24-hour service.

1 of 20,000 photos of the casino. It’s big and listed by one author as “one of the coolest casinos in the world.”

The Observation Deck Bar is The Happening Place, and is also the location of Lavo Bar and Amercan-Italian Restaurant, probably the best place in the city to combination party and dine all with a fabulous evening view. This place gets busy! You’d be wise to call for reservations.

Dining Out
Observation deck and bar at Lavo Restaurant. It’s the happin’ place for the younger social crowd on evenings and a great place for meals all through the week. Be sure to visit!

The Marina Bay Sands offers a luxury hotel, state-of-the-art convention and exhibition facilities, theaters, world-class entertainment, and the best shopping and dining in the region. The three hotel towers are crowned by the spectacular Sands SkyPark on the 57th story which offers 360-degree views of Singapore skyline and it is home to restaurants, lush gardens, an infinity-edged outdoor swimming pool, one of the world’s largest public cantilever(s) (a beam supported on only one end) housing an observation deck.

The Sands SkyPark is an architectural masterpiece sitting on top of the three hotel towers at Marina Bay Sands. This 1.2 hectare tropical oasis is longer than the Eiffel Tower, tall and large enough to park four-and-a-half A380 jumbo jets. It extends to form one of the world’s largest public cantilevers. Hotel guests have exclusive use of the 150-meter infinity swimming pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at the height of 200 meters.

We’ve gone together through just a few of many reasons why Singapore and the Marina Bay Sands Casino Hotel call us back to live high and love well again, and again.

When the day comes for you to leave the Marina Bay Sands Hotel you’ll probably feel, as I do, that we are leaving a magnificent architectural jewel, gleaming in the long low angled rays of our golden sun.

Singapore is relatively healthier than any other country or city in all of Equatorial Asia. Come to Singapore, visit, have fun, and do some important business in the city that is replacing New York and London as THE place to do business! Make reservations directly through the hotel. Start here, and please tell them you decided to visit after you read about this brilliant hotel at SgShopper.me.  All of this report/advertisement is done as a free sample of my work (and I’m improving regularly. I’m one of the world’s best at fixing back pain but now too old to continue.)

I hope a few friends like you will give the hotel management a good word about my magazine and prompt the management to contribute something to my effort.

Now, I’m just chatting with you. Today is May 11, 2021. You may have forgotten but we suffered a “humongous” solar flair at the beginning of May and that may have been the reason for the loss of many photos from pages. I’ve been cleaning up and it has wasted 2 weeks. What you’ve seen is not my best work. I’m destined to come back to improve this AFTER I have moved to a new web hosting company and learned to use newer, more nimble software. In any case, I hope you liked looking and will share it through social media with friends. When you do you’re helping me and the businesses in Singapore and your friends too. Accept my advanced “thanks.”

We’re a new developing magazine, working diligently to be the best shopping guide in the city. We’re thankful for you to share our address with your friends!  Everyone is welcome to visit this site, but we are primarily intended to serve the local Singapore audience.  Please tell friends to Follow the blog.
